it's that time of year again when we settle back into our season of comfort eating and fat people reality tv shows! you have no idea how excited i am, even though i don't get the ONE damn channel i need in order to watch the biggest loser.
as much as i HATE to admit it, i LOVE this awful damn show more to love.
every couple minutes, i'm cringing due to second hand embarrassment from this show. first of all, some of these girls aren't even all that big. but let's take last week's episode into consideration. the producers send these poor girls to the beach, where they are "expected" to wear swimsuits. so of course the girls don't want to. but luke (the eligible bachelor) decided it was a good idea to tell the girls, in the most creeptastic way possible, that the girls should rub suntan lotion on him because it'd be exciting for all parties involved.
it was disgusting for me to watch. it'd be disgusting for me to watch ANYONE get that much shit slathered all over them.
anyway, i'm watching more to love right now. but it's only because i miss my fatties on the biggest loser. i hope i can figure something out by the time THAT season premier airs.

Move in date: June 19th
well i am meeting my new landlord on the 19th to get the keys at least. and i am hoping to move the big shit in on the 20th. be done with that and move most of the small stuff throughout the week (if i have any more small stuff to move).
then i have all weekend: 26, 27, 28 to clean the current place. annnnd i'll be done with it!
i've still not started to pack/go through my crap to figure out what i can toss or donate. i'm not trying to sell any of it, cause it's mostly JUNK. buttttt if i come across something decent, i'll tooootally try to sell it lol.
oh and i just realized that my yarn collection is going to take up about 10 boxes. what the hell is wrong with me?

pros of new place:
-already set up for cable and internets
-BALCONYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
-literally two minutes (walking) from omg supercute historic ellicott city
-actual working washer and dryer
-quiet, tree lined street
-actual bathroom/normal sized bathroom
-no more street parking!
-balconyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
-car insurance will go down a LOT ($1125/6mo now to $730/6mo)
-dishwasher!
-over-the-range microwave!
-dumpster
-OMG MORE CLOSETS!!!!! or well...one more closet and the other two are HUGE.
cons of new place:
-more expensive
pros of current place:
-hardwood floors throughout
-all utilities included
-internets included in the rent/already set up for me.
-close to everything in downtown baltimore
cons of current place:
-street parking
-transvestite hookers
-people like to slash my tires
-trash only gets taken out once a week....and if our trashcans out back are full, you can't put your trash out.
-mice like to attack the building and make their way up to my place
-same with rats....and baltimore city rats are horrifying
-bathroom is literally inside of a closet.
-i wouldn't walk around my neighborhood by myself. ever.
i think it's obvious why i'm moving. and i'm sure there are WAY more reasons that the new place is better. but whatevs. i'll think of them later.
god anyway.....does anyone want to help me pack and move? cause ugh.

i applied for an apartment in ellicott city.
i can afford it
it's going to save me money on car insurance and gas for work.
it's also in a safer neighborhood and super close to super cute historic ellicott city.
my only problem is, even though it sounds perfect, i can't actually decide if i should move in there or notttttttt. god i hate this.
help!

the hunt for tbl's episode from tuesday was not successful last night. so i'm delayed again.
i'm tempted just to write my thoughts on the photos provided by nbc.com.
hmmmm we'll see.
(i leave for calitexas tomorrow. no internet access besides bberry emails. BUT i will have dvr'd next week's ep!)

so uh not gonna lie, didn't watch tbl last night and i'm super upset about it. instead, i had to go to newark to meet my mother and uncle to sell my old laptop to him.
turned into a huge fiasco and i ended up being out til like 10:30ish (wayyyyyyy past my bedtime).
anyway, i'm hoping nbc gets their act together and puts tbl online ASAP. as of right now, it's not up.
but please note: tim gunn was on the show last night and i am SO FREAKING excited to watch this episode. you have no idea.

so, as it turns out, even if BCBS TELLS you go to a place, you really need to double and triple check that. i called them after my surgery to ask where i should go for PT. they gave me a number or two and told me that these were covered under my plan.
almost a year later, turns out they aren't covering my PT bill at all. so i spent most of the week freaking out about it.
got a text from pt kim the other day letting me know for sure that bcbs isn't covering the pt bill. and that even though that's the case, i don't need to worry about it. she's really the greatest.
and in exchange for a bill that's probably close to 30k, i'm giving her.....
